From Matter to Meaning

Every Dante’s piece is shaped through the meeting of nature and precision —

where ancient material becomes modern form.

1. The Origin — Bog Oak

Approximately 6,000-year-old bog oak, recovered from riverbeds and shaped by hand.

Each fragment is refined until its natural balance is revealed — forming the core of every piece.

2. The Form — Hand Modeling

The metal structure is sculpted in wax or polymer clay, guided by the wood itself.

No molds. No repetition. Each form is guided by the structure of the wood — nothing is imposed.

3. The Transition — Digital Scan

The model is captured through high-resolution 3D scanning, preserving every detail.

The analog becomes digital — ready for its next form.

4. The Structure — Metal Printing

Using advanced additive manufacturing, the piece is formed in

cobalt–chrome–molybdenum or Grade 5 titanium, depending on the Edition.

5. The Union — Assembly

Wood and metal are brought together through precise welding and manual assembly.

Two materials. One structure.

6. The Finish — Finalization

Each piece is polished, protected, and individually inspected.

Numbered and accompanied by authenticity certificates, including scientific verification of the bog oak’s age — confirming the material’s journey through time, validated by the Ruđer Bošković Institute Radiocarbon Laboratory.
